National Guard can use means of forcibly stopping a car - Verkhovna Rada has adopted a corresponding bill

The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a bill giving military personnel of the National Guard the right to use means of forcibly stopping a car whose driver has not complied with the legal requirements of the serviceman or is trying to avoid going through control at a checkpoint.

What are these means: handcuffs, bondage nets, protective barriers, turnstiles, rubber and plastic batons, contact and contact-remote electroshock devices, means of forcibly stopping a vehicle, grenades and light-sound ammunition, water cannons, armored vehicles without standard equipment installed on them weapons and other special (specialized) vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic countermeasures.
