Artificial intelligence will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces to dominate Russian troops, - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lebedenko
According to Lebedenko, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have created corresponding units, subdivisions, and command bodies, the goal of which is technological dominance on the battlefield.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are seeking to widely introduce artificial intelligence into the army, which would help them gain an advantage over the Russians on the battlefield. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Andriy Lebedenko, stated this at a briefing.
“One of the main areas of work of the General Staff is innovation. Large-scale activities have been launched. And these are not just words, but facts proven by action and results,” he said.
Lebedenko explained that in order to move today from the number of unmanned systems to a new level of quality, it is necessary to move to the use of machine vision.
“We are aiming for artificial intelligence,” the colonel noted.
According to Lebedenko, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have created appropriate units, subdivisions, and command and control bodies, the goal of which is technological dominance on the battlefield, which compensates for the number of personnel in which the Ukrainian army is inferior to the enemy.
“We are working to ensure that the products of our partnership become more widespread, so that there is a new level of quality. Our goal is the use of artificial intelligence on the battlefield,” he added.
Lebedenko also noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine works widely with domestic manufacturers and partner countries that provide the necessary technologies.
