The Russian Armed Forces continue to use Starlink terminals – investigation

Starlink continues to be sold in Russia, despite the ban on trading platforms and the owner of SpaceX, Elon Musk. You can purchase terminals for prices ranging from 1,400 to 3,000 euros.

They are sometimes sold under other names, such as Star V2 or Star V3, according to The Insider’s investigation. Journalists also found 2 routers for terminals on sale for 360 euros.

On the Russian marketplace Ozon 12, investigators also found an advertisement entitled “Satellite Internet for Starlink SVO”, that is, the Russians do not even hide such sales. The seller assured that the equipment works in “border territories, the Republic of Crimea and Kaliningrad”

Another clarified that the device will work uninterruptedly in the Kherson, Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv regions, as well as in the “L/DPR”, Crimea and Kaliningrad.
