Ukrainian defence forces repel 9 Russian attacks in Orikhiv sector

The Defence Forces of southern Ukraine reported this in a Telegram .

"In the Orikhivsk sector, the occupants made nine attacks. They were unsuccessful. On the left bank of the Dnipro River, in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, the enemy made six unsuccessful attacks near the village of Krynky. Having suffered losses, they retreated to their original positions," the statement said.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to take comprehensive measures to hold their positions.

At night, the enemy once again attacked with Shahed131/136 kamikaze drones. Air defence forces destroyed 22 drones in the skies over Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Dnipro regions and Zaporizhzhya.

The falling wreckage of a downed kamikaze drone in Odesa region damaged a gas pipeline and a civilian car.

"The occupants are putting pressure with artillery shelling, air strikes, using a large number of attack drones of various types, and continue aerial reconnaissance. Over the past day, 217 reconnaissance UAVs were spotted flying in the operational zone," the Defence Forces said.
