Czech Republic plans to train 4,000 Ukrainian troops this year

The Czech Republic is considering holding exercises for 4,000 Ukrainian troops.

The Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, Jana Černohová, talks about this, reports iDnes .

Chernokhova recalled that last year four thousand military personnel from Ukraine were trained in the Czech Republic. Moreover, she stated that the same amount has been approved for this year.

“As soon as we receive information that a shift has been formed, we provide our training facilities and instructors,” said the Czech Defence Minister.

At the same time, she clarified that the maximum number of “shifts” is 800 military personnel.
