US corporation will produce ammunition in Ukraine

The American military-industrial corporation Northrop Grumman intends to begin production of medium-caliber ammunition in Ukraine. Breaking Defence reports.

A company representative, during a conversation with reporters, said that this would happen as part of the Northrop co-production agreement that was signed between the Pentagon and the Government of Ukraine.

“We, as you know, have been working in Ukraine on the production of medium-caliber ammunition. This is our first project paid for in Ukrainian dollars. We plan to expand this to ammunition for tanks, 155 mm and others, as we find innovative processes,” the director said Northrop Defence Systems Global Business Dave Bartell.

In addition, such plans were confirmed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US State Department for Military-Political Affairs Stanley Brown.
