A fight broke out in Dnipro during a "raid on bot farms" organised by MP Tyshchenko
After a video appeared on social networks showing a fight between people in camouflage and a civilian, the Dnipropetrovsk region police commented on the event.
On Thursday, 20 June, MP Mykola Tyshchenko arrived in the city of Dnipro to check information about the activities of bot farms and call centres that commit fraud against Ukrainians. During his stay in the city, there was an incident involving a fight in which the MP’s bodyguards allegedly took part.
As seen in the footage published in local publics, three men in military uniforms severely twisted the man on the central avenue of the city.
Later, they handcuffed his hands and struck the detainee. MP Tyshchenko appeared next to the man in handcuffs in one of the subsequent videos.
In a video recorded in Dnipro by the MP himself, he talks about the shutdown of four bot farms that employed about 300 people. According to him, all of them were detained and the police are working with them. He did not mention the incident in the city centre.
After a video was posted on social media showing people in camouflage fighting with a civilian, the police of the Dnipro region commented on the incident.
"An investigative team arrived at the scene. The circumstances are now being investigated," said Hanna Starchevska, a spokeswoman for the Dnipro regional police.
According to the author of the video, the fight, which looks more like a detention, allegedly involved the bodyguards of MP Mykola Tyshchenko.
But the MP’s assistant Evelina Andriyevska replied in a comment that "Mykola Mykolayovych has no bodyguards".
Meanwhile, the police of Dnipropetrovsk region reported that they were identifying all the participants in the conflict.
