Demobilization is not yet possible, - Klymenko
So far, there are no conditions for demobilization in Ukraine. Experienced military personnel who have already been fighting for more than two years are needed at the front.
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko spoke about this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
According to Klymenko, without experienced military personnel on the front line, our front could “collapse.”
“If we now demobilize those people who, for example, served for 2 years, then our front will sag and the units will be inferior. We must now restore the combat effectiveness of the units and we must have, at a minimum, an equivalent replacement during the rotation of active brigades and battalions. I think if we ask the military now, their opinion will be the same - we do not have the right to collapse the front,” the minister explained.
Klymenko added that he understands the military, who have been fighting for a long time and want to demobilize, but the situation at the front and in the state as a whole does not yet allow this. The front needs experienced military personnel.
