All recipients of social assistance in Ukraine will be included in the register

The Cabinet of Ministers plans to create a Unified Social Register, which will include all recipients of social assistance.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated this at a government meeting.

“We approve the bill on the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere. We will determine the legal basis for the operation of such a system, which is the basis for the provision of social support in our country,” Shmygal said.

In addition, according to him, the government will create a Unified Social Register, which will contain various databases and information about recipients of all types of social assistance provided by the state.

“This will allow us to provide more targeted support to our citizens who really need it, and will increase the efficiency of using budget funds,” the Prime Minister explained.
