Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a difficult situation in the Horlivka direction

Over the past week, Russian troops have been conducting an offensive in the Horlivka direction and have had local successes.

Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter Yevhen Iyevlev, who goes by the call sign Sheikh, said this on Espresso TV.

The Ukrainian defender said that the Russians had managed to partially fail the defence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Yuriyivka and that fighting was ongoing there:

"And this is not the outskirts of New York, this is the territory bordering New York. There are also street battles in New York."

According to the fighter, from time to time the enemy makes limited local advances along the entire defence line near occupied Horlivka, the invaders are trying to break through the defensive positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
