Two civilians were killed and four were injured in Donetsk region due to Russian attacks

During the day, Russia launched 2,275 strikes in the region.

At least two residents of Donetsk region were killed and four wounded in the last 24 hours as a result of Russian attacks. Over the course of the day, Russia launched 2,275 attacks on the region.

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

The enemy fired on 14 settlements: the town of Kurakhove, the villages of Grodivka, Illinka, Kurakhivka, Novoekonomichne, New York, Pivdenne, the villages of Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopilske, Memryk, Mykhailivka, Novoselydivka, Pleshchiyivka, Yantarne.

16 civilian objects were damaged, including 14 residential buildings, a granary and a critical infrastructure facility.

In Hrodivka, Russians hit a residential sector with a drone, killing a civilian.

At least one person was killed and one was injured as a result of small arms and CAB-250 bomb attacks on Pivdenne. Two apartment blocks were damaged.

Two civilians were injured in New York and another in Illinivka.

Consequences of the shelling of the Donetsk region

Another 117 people were evacuated from the Donetsk region, including 15 children. Since the beginning of mandatory evacuation, a total of 174,484 people have left, including 20,723 children, 7,106 people with disabilities.

The police and the SSU opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
