The White House announces a meeting between Zelenskyy and Biden

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with US President Joe Biden on Thursday, 11 July.

This became known at a briefing by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

"President Biden will meet with President Zelenskyy on Thursday afternoon to discuss our strong support for Ukraine as it continues to defend itself against Russian aggression," the spokeswoman said.

According to her, the meeting will take place at 13:30 local time (20:30 Kyiv time) in the building where the NATO summit is taking place.

Jean-Pierre clarified that the leaders will hold negotiations before the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council. This will be the third meeting between Zelenskyy and Biden in recent months.
