Russian troops in the Kharkiv region are replenished with “what type” rifle battalions.

Deputy commander of the 3rd Specialized Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, wrote about this on his Telegram.

According to him, these are just infantry, which are sometimes assigned assault missions.

“For example, a unit is given a battalion of infantrymen and sent one by one in waves to assault missions. The main thing is for at least someone to run to certain positions, and sit there until someone comes running,” Zhorin noted.

The tactic worked in some areas due to the number of people and intensity, he said. Despite this, most of this infantry was destroyed.

“Including a large percentage of their losses due to the ban on providing medical care. So as not to be distracted from the main tasks,” Zhorin wrote.
