Ukrenergo reported the time and volume of power outages

“The application of restriction measures is predicted only during the hours of evening maximum consumption - from 16:00 to 22:00 there will be one turn off,” the message says.

According to the press service, the reason is complex. Firstly, the heat has subsided, and electricity consumption in Ukraine has decreased. This morning consumption is 6% below its forecast level (without restrictions) for the morning of Thursday, July 18.

At the same time, the power deficit has also decreased - a unit at one of the nuclear plants has returned to operation after repairs, and sunny weather and moderate temperatures contribute to an increase in electricity production at solar power plants, Ukrenergo noted.
