Former 80th Brigade commander Ishkulov commented on his dismissal

“They told me: “You probably need to rest,” Ishkulov said.

He actually confirmed the unofficial information that he was removed for refusing to fulfill the unrealistic task set by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrskyi.

“The commanders of the brigade units are dissatisfied with the decision of the senior management that I am being removed. They are partially aware of the situation about what task is facing them, they know that this task is unrealistic,” Ishkulov said, commenting on the brigade’s demand not to remove it.

The former brigade commander also denied claims that he was promoted.

“Well, how’s the promotion?.. Now my deputy has taken over the position of brigade commander. Instead, I’m going to his position – deputy chief of intelligence,” he explained.
