Explosions heard in Kyiv during air raid

Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the morning of August 17 during an air raid alarm. It was declared due to enemy attack drones that were spotted in the region.

This was reported by a correspondent of " RBK-Ukraine ".

Explosions in the capital area were heard at around 07:16. They were probably in the outskirts or outside the city.

Before this, the command of the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the movement of "shahids" towards Brovary had been recorded.

"UAV in the Kyiv region in the direction of Brovary," the military said in a statement at 07:07.

There are suggestions online that the sounds of explosions may be related to the operation of air defence systems.

Local authorities have not yet made any statements about the explosions.
