The video surveillance system can be used to detain evaders, - media

The Verkhovna Rada will consider bill No. 11031, which provides for the introduction of video monitoring in public places. This system will have the ability to identify individuals and public transport, as well as transmit information about them to law enforcement agencies.

If bill No. 11031 "On the unified system of video monitoring of public safety conditions" is adopted, thanks to cameras located throughout Ukraine, they will be able to monitor citizens in public places.

This should increase the level of safety and help law enforcement officers quickly identify criminals. However, some Ukrainians believe that this will be used to find draft dodgers.
