The young family spent a total of over 11 million UAH on updating their fleet of vehicles. Previously, Kapatsyna received a gift of 36 million UAH from his father, the former head of Mykolaiv Port Vasyl Kapatsyna, and another 7.4 million UAH from his sister Lyudmyla.

In the city of Edinburgh, a company named Millenio Business Ltd is registered to him. It owns the tugboat Marshall, which is based in Mykolaiv Port. In December 2023, Millenio Business Ltd was re-registered to a "front man" from Belize. But before that, Mykola Kapatsyna was listed as the sole owner of the company in the British registers.
