The Cabinet allowed street and park lighting, and officials are permitted to use air conditioners
The government has canceled the recommendations to limit the use of air conditioners and outdoor lighting for government institutions and local government bodies.
The Cabinet of Ministers has canceled the recommendations regarding the restriction on the use of air conditioners in government institutions, as well as the outdoor lighting of buildings and adjacent territories starting from September 30. This information is contained in the government order No. 910-r dated September 26.
The validity period of these restrictions has been postponed from December 31 to September 30, 2024.
Additionally, the government has canceled the recommendation for local government bodies regarding the restriction on street lighting and park illumination.
In June, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to reduce electricity consumption in all government institutions, which included a ban on the use of air conditioners and the disconnection of outdoor lighting for buildings and territories.
