Zaluzhnyi was injured after a call with the OP, - Kryvonos

According to Serhiy Kryvonos, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was injured in May last year as a result of a "strike" on the command post in the Zaporizhzhya direction.

In the spring of 2023, then Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi was injured. This was told by reserve Major General Serhiy Kryvonos on the YouTube channel of former MP and blogger Boryslav Bereza explained.

Kryvonos noted that the strike on the command post in the Zaporizhzhya direction came immediately after a call from an official from the President’s Office, and the military commander miraculously survived.

"Zaluzhnyi picked up the phone, his location was detected via radio signal, and a guided Russian shell arrived there a minute and a half later," Kryvonos stated.

He noted that Zaluzhnyi was hit by shrapnel and was saved from death only because the building that was shelled was strong and withstood the main impact.
