The enemy’s losses for the day: eliminated 1160 occupiers

During a day of fighting on the front, Ukraine’s defence forces neutralized about 1,160 servicemen of the Russian occupying army. In addition, 282 units of their military equipment and weaponry were destroyed.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As of October 7, the losses in manpower of the Russian Armed Forces, which they have suffered on our land since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, amount to 661,630 invaders killed and wounded.

The day before, defenders shot down two Russian cruise missiles (a total of 2,615) and 65 operational-tactical level drones (16,643).

The warriors turned 64 enemy artillery systems into scrap metal (a total of 19,156), 31 combat armored vehicles (17,710), 14 tanks (8,933), seven MLRS (1,223), and two air defence systems (972).

Most of all, the fighters destroyed 96 units of automotive equipment and tankers of the occupiers (a total of 26,102), and also one piece of special equipment (3,364).

Additionally, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the defense forces have destroyed 368 aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and a submarine of the Russian Armed Forces.
