Defence Forces shot down 24 out of 28 kamikaze drones during the night

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram. 

According to the information, on the night of October 12, the Russians launched an attack on Ukraine with missiles of an unspecified type (launch location - Belgorod region) and 28 attack UAVs (launch locations - Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk).

Anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defence Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.

As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 24 drones were destroyed in the Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

As a result of active electronic warfare, two enemy drones lost connection with their location.
