To the "National Cashback" service in Diya, a barcode scanner has been added

The National Cashback service in Diya has received a new feature – a barcode scanner.

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, and the press office of the Ministry of Economy.

"Now with Diya, you can find out in advance whether cashback is available for a product. No need to ask supermarket cashiers or look for a mark on the packaging," the minister noted.

To scan a barcode, you need to open "Diya" and point the scanner at the barcode. This way, you will find out whether the product is eligible for the program.

"If it is, you will receive cashback; if not, Diya will notify you. The decision is up to you — to choose this product or another," explained the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

He added that the beta testing of the National Cashback has been ongoing for more than a month.

"During this time, we have not only been collecting feedback and observing the service’s performance but also adding new functionality. To make it even more convenient for you to use the service and support Ukrainian sellers and producers," Fedorov wrote.

According to the Ministry of Economy, users have currently earned 90 million UAH in cashback for purchasing Ukrainian products. Since the introduction of the "National Cashback" program, over 1 million Ukrainians (1.18 million) have seen their accrued cashback. During this time, they have received 90 million UAH in cashback for buying Ukrainian-made products. 1.9 million Ukrainians have joined the program, having issued 2.1 million cards. Over 1.1 million users have activated their payout cards in Diya.

The "National Cashback" from the state is already available on 267,000 Ukrainian products from 1,352 local manufacturers.
