A new ski resort worth 1.5 billion dollars will appear in the Carpathians

Its construction has already begun and will cost $1.5 billion.

GORO Mountain Resort will be located at the foot of the Vysokiy Verkh mountain range, near the villages of Volosyanka and Verkhnya Rozhanka, which are part of the Slavske UTC in the Lviv region.

Details:

• Building term - 15 years;
• The total area will be almost 1200 hectares;
• There will be 41 ski slopes with a total length of 75 km, with 342 hectares of snow coverage;
• 17.5 km of lifts, including two modern gondola cable cars and 11 chair lifts, as well as Welcome and Mountain centers.

Additionally, the resort will feature Ukraine’s longest gondola cable car (2.8 km) and the longest ski slope (3.8 km).
