According to the Kyiv mayor, combat operations to repel the air attack are taking place in the Obolon district of the capital.

He announced the work of air defence in Kyiv around half-past six in the morning.

"Air defence forces are working in Obolon," the mayor said in a statement on his Telegram channel.

In addition, residents of the city are advised not to leave shelters until the alarm is cleared.
