In Kyiv, law enforcement officers exposed a hacker who earned 40 thousand US dollars through a scheme. The criminal created a program that intercepted service tokens at MIA service centers.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison.

"According to the investigation, the man devised a way to ’assist’ those wishing to obtain a token for visiting territorial service centers of the MIA or the Expert Service of the MIA. Since a limited number of tokens are generated each day, not everyone can avail of services on their desired day," the press service noted.

It is reported that the criminal independently created a program that intercepted available tokens for his clients immediately after they appeared in the system. This program allowed him to automatically secure a place in the electronic queue eQueue for multiple people simultaneously.
