In the occupied Kherson region, two ATO participants committed suicide
Two ATO participants, whom the occupiers forced to sign a contract to serve in the army of the aggressor country, committed suicide in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region. They hanged themselves.
This was reported by the Deputy Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES), Serhiy Danylov, on Facebook. He noted that Ukrainians were unable to leave the TOT in time, and later the exit was restricted. The Russian invaders forced them to join the ranks of the Russian army.
"At least two ATO veterans hanged themselves in the occupied Kherson region, whom the occupiers forced to sign a contract to serve in the Russian army," said the CMES director.
He explained that the men did not manage to leave, and later they were informed that departure was prohibited. The occupiers discovered the men when they came directly to take them to the enemy’s army.
