The online media "ANTIKOR" is undergoing a media attack through fake news

The editorial team of the online media «ANTIKOR» reports that on 4.11.2024, an alleged «investigation» was published on one of the anonymous websites, claiming that our publication engages in «extortion» from corrupt officials and businessmen with a criminal trail.

We report that the information on the site, which openly accepts orders to tarnish the reputation of anyone or any company «pointed at», is an obvious low-grade fake. Unknown persons, having no facts against «ANTIKOR», deliberately fabricated correspondence with the publication to discredit our online media.

Creating an anonymous account in Telegram and communicating on behalf of one of the MPs, they directed a letter to our editorial office, supposedly from him, with an offer to resolve an issue regarding cooperation with the site and the removal of compromising materials for money.

Upon receiving a response questioning the presence of a court decision concerning these materials, they concocted a provocation in the form of an alleged advertising cooperation, which they displayed in fake correspondence with an unknown person.

From these screenshots, it becomes clear that there was an attempt to bribe the journalists of «ANTIKOR», but our media operates within the Constitution of Ukraine and current legislation. Realizing the provocation failed, the fictitious «investigators» decided to fabricate the correspondence. However, these «geniuses» didn’t even think to delete the true version of the correspondence.

These types of attacks have occurred before, including by order of Russian special services and the «heroes» of our investigations.

Attempts by anonymous websites to discredit our portal only demonstrate that we have become a real enemy for corrupt officials and dishonest businessmen, leading to attacks by the hands of anonymous «media killers».

The editorial office of «ANTIKOR» has been operating for 11 years. During this time, we have endured dozens of media attacks, attempts to hack the website, discreditation, and even ordered petitions signed only by those who were paid.

We have always stood for the interests of our State, and as journalists, we aim to continue the fight against corruption, cronyism, tax evasion schemes, fraud, and other «cancerous tumors» that destroy our State from within.

The staff of «ANTIKOR» defends Ukraine both with weapons in hand and on the information front, resisting the enemy. Completely fake materials with forged correspondence and obvious failed attempts to bribe our correspondents demonstrate fear of being exposed by our opponents.

Once again, we emphasize that the editorial office of «ANTIKOR» has repeatedly drawn readers’ attention to the fact that correspondence with the editorial office is conducted only from one email, which is posted on the publication’s website. The editorial office does not conduct any other means of communication through other messengers and email addresses. Beware of fraudsters!
