Border guards detained a group of men who planned to illegally cross the border into Moldova

The border guards detained a group of eight men who were attempting to illegally cross the state border to travel to Moldova. They used the services of an administrator of a Telegram channel for this purpose.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service. The organizer of the illegal crossing charged $10,000 from each for his services and demanded that these funds be transferred to a cryptocurrency wallet.

The "clients" trusted the organizer and arrived at the designated meeting point, where they were met by an accomplice driver with a telescopic ladder to overcome the anti-vehicle ditch.

They all continued their journey in a passenger car through the border area, where they were detained by the border guards. Some of them attempted to flee, but the team reacted promptly.

The driver of the car now faces criminal liability, and the passengers have been brought to administrative responsibility. The cases have already been handed over to the court.
