On the eastern front, Russian assault troops are being driven into "meat reconnaissance," - spokesperson for the Operational-Tactical Group "Luhansk"
As part of the attempts to advance on Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, Russian invaders are conducting "meat reconnaissance," said the spokesperson of the Operational Tactical Group "Luhansk," Anastasiya Bobovnykova.
"The enemy is not advancing. We are stopping all their attempts, all assaults both in Toretsk and in Chasiv Yar," she emphasized during the broadcast of the information telethon.
The representative of the Operational Tactical Group "Luhansk" notes that the enemy is trying to find vulnerabilities in the defence of Ukrainian troops’ positions by conducting reconnaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s positions.
"They just run forward: whoever reaches, reaches, whoever doesn’t, doesn’t. This is more reminiscent of ’meat reconnaissance,’ where units are thrown in to identify weak points or determine where the positions are strong," she explained.
At the same time, the Ukrainian military also emphasized that these attempts by the Russian army are timely detected by the Ukrainian military and enemy groups are neutralized.
"Such attempts certainly occur. The enemy is destroyed, groups are hit, and the enemy does not advance," Bobovnykova added.
