Approximately 150,000 displaced persons have returned to live in the territories that are under occupation

This was reported by the "Servant of the People" deputy Maksym Tkachenko.

"About 150,000 internally displaced persons have already returned to the temporarily occupied territories.

For example, according to available information, 200,000 residents of Mariupol left the city, fleeing from the war that Russia brought to our land. However, every third of them returned home to Mariupol, to occupation. According to estimates, this is about 67-70 thousand people. In my opinion, these are terrible numbers," Tkachenko noted in an interview.

According to him, in the territory controlled by Ukraine, these people "did not receive proper support from the state - neither housing, nor social support, compensation, employment, etc."

Also, according to him, many displaced persons "could not find work due to a skeptical attitude towards them from employers, and all those offers that are provided to displaced persons are indeed very low-paid."
