Ukrainian intelligence officers showcased long-range drones used for attacks on military targets in Russia. Each drone can carry 75 kilograms of explosives, making them a powerful weapon in the fight against the aggressor.

A report was published by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine’s press service. In the article, the DIU’s group of operators commander described the complex and very thorough process of preparing for each operation.

In particular, intelligence officers analyze targets, ways to achieve them, and also assess the operation of enemy air defense and electronic warfare systems.

"Preparations are carried out in several stages. First, we analyse the targets, the possibility of reaching them, study the enemy’s air defences and electronic warfare to find corridors for passage. Over the past year, it has been very difficult to do this, but we have managed to do it," explained the commander of the long-range UAV operators group of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the use of strike UAVs has significantly improved. According to intelligence officers, their group was among the first to launch long-range drones.

"We are the team that launched practically all long-range drones and those before them. We can track the dynamics – today we are capable of striking targets at a distance of 2000 km," noted the intelligence officer.
