The Court of Appeal left the preventive measure for the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration unchanged

The Appeals Chamber of the Higher Anti-Corruption Court upheld the preventive measure in the form of bail amounting to 30 million UAH, which was applied to the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko.

This decision was made by the Appeals Chamber of the HACC on November 21.

As is known, the HACC determined a preventive measure in the form of bail amounting to 30 million UAH for the former head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko. Additionally, the following obligations were imposed on him: to appear at every demand; to report any change of residence and/or work; not to leave the Dnipropetrovsk region without permission; to refrain from contact with other suspects and witnesses; to hand in foreign passports for safekeeping and wear an electronic bracelet. The SAPO prosecutor and Reznichenko’s defender filed appeals against this decision.

"The ruling of the investigating judge dated 09.16.2024 is to be left unchanged, the appeals of the defenders and the prosecutor are to be dismissed. The ruling takes effect from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal," the decision states.
