At the Center for Countering Disinformation, the reports regarding the Russian offensive on Kozacha Lopan were denied

Ukrainian military fully controls the border in Kharkiv region, there is no Russian army offensive on Kozacha Lopan.

This was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council, on Telegram.

«As of now, the information about the Russian offensive on Kozacha Lopan, in the Kharkiv region, being spread by their public channels, does not correspond to reality», – he noted.

Kovalenko added that the Defence Forces fully control the border.

It is worth noting that on the eve, the head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, reported that a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to cross the border in the north of the Kharkiv region in the area of Derhachi and Kozacha Lopan. According to him, part of this group was eliminated, and others retreated to the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

The head of the Military Administration also noted that «the Russians are not conducting or attempting to conduct an active offensive in the Derhachi direction, and a sufficient number of forces at the border is not observed».
