The AFU continue to clear out occupiers in Kupyansk and other directions, – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, during which he received a report on the situation at the front. Currently, the main efforts of Russian forces are concentrated in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.

The head of state said this during a briefing.

"Pokrovsk –– the enemy has had no success in recent days, 26-30% of all combat actions on the front are taking place in Pokrovsk. Moreover, 50% of all uses of guided aerial bombs (GABs) are directed at Pokrovsk. You understand how difficult it is for our forces," Zelenskyy said.

The defence of the city is being handled by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, who is on the battlefield, the president noted.

He mentioned that there are currently between 260 and 300 Russian soldiers in Pokrovsk.

According to Zelenskyy, the situation regarding Kupyansk was discussed at the meeting, where, as he stated, about 60 occupiers remain.

"Cleanup is underway. We will clear everything. We know. In principle, the dates are set. This was discussed at the meeting. We will not share such information for now," the head of state said.

• On the Lyman direction, there are no changes. The situation is stabilizing. 
• On the Kramatorsk direction –– also no changes. Fighting continues in Kostyantynivka, and the situation remains unchanged for now.
• On the Novopavlivka direction, according to him, there are no changes; the Armed Forces of Ukraine are engaged in combat against the occupiers in 6 settlements.

"The Commander-in-Chief said that they have cleared another 2-3 km, but Russia understands that it has completely lost the initiative there, and we understand that it is preparing a revanche. It is clear that they are amassing troops for interception, and we understand this from all the signs," Zelenskyy said.
