As a result of the Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhya on December 6, players of the local amateur team "Avrora," Bohdan Titov and Maksym Brahin, were killed. Both athletes were 27 years old.

This was reported by Sport.ua, according to Patrioty Ukrainy.

Titov was the captain of "Avrora." Besides playing in the amateur team, Bragin coached children at the local youth sports school. It should be noted that on the evening of December 6, the army of the aggressor country Russia shelled Zaporizhzhya, resulting in the deaths of ten people, with 12 more remaining in hospitals. On December 7, the city declared a day of mourning.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that earlier, seven hockey players who fought against the enemy in the ranks of the Defence Forces were killed by Russian bullets. They were Oleksandr Khmil, Denys Pashynskyi, Yaroslav Harkavko, Oleksiy Lohinov, Oleksandr Kolonyuk, Makar Yerofeyev, and Vladyslav Lykhoshva.
