In the Ministry of Energy, it was explained how long Ukrainians will have to live with power outage schedules
Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak stated that Ukrainians will have to adhere to the blackout schedule at least until spring. In some places, the energy system of our country is operating on the brink.
Andarak shared this information in a brief interview with News.LIVE journalist Halyna Ostapovets on Wednesday, December 11.
"Repair works are ongoing, but the last few days have been marked by a very powerful attack on the generating capacities in the eastern part of Ukraine," Andarak reported.
He also added that all efforts are currently being made to restore the energy system, but it sometimes operates at the critical threshold of its capabilities.
Nevertheless, in the absence of new shelling, the situation with electricity supply will gradually improve.
"Over time, the situation will improve, but predicting anything specific is difficult, as these shelling events are unpredictable," Andarak explained.
