Military enlistment offices are fining even those who came to update their information

This was stated by MP Oleksandr Fediyenko.

He reported that the number of fines has risen sharply:

  • Not registered — 17,000 UAH even if you come to update your information.
  • Lost military ID — 17,000 UAH.
  • Stolen documents — 5,100 UAH, even with a certificate.

After the new law (May 2024), fines reach up to 25,000 UAH, which has caused disputes in courts due to ambiguous application to past violations.
