The Ministry of Justice reported a major malfunction in the operation of state registers

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on the evening of Thursday, December 19, reported a major failure in the operation of state registers and services. As a result, some services in the "Diya" application also do not function.

As stated on the Facebook page of the agency, work is ongoing to resolve the issues. Specialists are working in an enhanced mode.

"Unfortunately, we have faced a serious challenge – a major failure at the level of the network infrastructure that serves the registers," the statement said.

Until the end of the day, unified and state registers, the management and functioning of which are within the competence of the agency, as well as websites of the Ministry of Justice, the state enterprise "National Information Systems," and call center will not operate.

It should be noted that Russian hackers claimed to have allegedly attacked the digital databases of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, downloaded the information, and deleted it. 

Meanwhile, in the Diya application, it was reported that due to the updates of the state registers of the Ministry of Justice and technical work, some services are temporarily unavailable. They reminded that Diya does not store personal data but only receives information from registers, so some services are currently unavailable.

In particular, these include:

– services for private entrepreneurs and LLCs;

– vehicle re-registration;

– employee reservations;

– eRecovery;

– extract from the Unified State Register;

– civil records;

– reports on damaged or destroyed property, as well as other services related to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Formations, the State Registry of Civil Status Acts, the State Registry of Real Property Rights, and the State Registry of Encumbrances on Movable Property.
