Law enforcement officers arrived with searches at "Kyivmisksvitlo"

In Kyiv today, law enforcement officers are conducting searches at the municipal enterprise "Kyivmisksvitlo." The investigative actions are being carried out in a case regarding the possible involvement of officials in inflating repair costs for lighting.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).

"Today, December 24th, employees of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv are conducting searches at the municipal enterprise ’Kyivmisksvitlo.’ The investigative actions are part of a criminal proceeding regarding the potential involvement of the enterprise’s officials in exceeding expenses on capital repairs of external lighting networks for the period of 2023–2024," the message states.

The KCSA emphasized that a pre-trial investigation is currently underway to identify and document possible violations.

The department also reminded that in 2023-2024, at the order of "Kyivmisksvitlo," project and estimate documentation was developed for conducting capital repairs of external lighting networks in the capital.

According to the KCSA, the documentation received a positive expert report and was approved in the prescribed manner, and all tender procedures "were conducted in accordance with the law."
