Usyk became the first in the ranking of the ten best heavyweights in the world
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk took the first place in the heavyweight boxing rankings.
The ranking was published by the reputable sports portal GiveMeSport.
Usyk claimed the top of the heavyweight ranking after his recent victory over Tyson Fury for the second time in a row.
«These two triumphs demonstrate that he has defeated all three of his main rivals in the division, having already beaten Joshua twice and knocked out Daniel Dubois,» notes the publication.
The 37-year-old Usyk has 23 victories, 16 of which are by stoppage (i.e., by knockout), and he is also the world champion according to the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO versions.
