In the ownership of the former head of the Odesa RTRC, Borysov, an office worth half a billion euros was discovered

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) detained a former official on December 25 in Kyiv, who is suspected of new criminal offenses.

Among them are the organization of obstruction of the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special period (Part 3 of Article 27, Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and the organization of drafting by an official of knowingly false documents (Part 3 of Article 27, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the former official illegally documented a non-combat injury, received outside of official duties, as connected to the defence of Ukraine. Based on fake documents and conclusions from the MSEC, he was awarded additional payments amounting to 165,480 hryvnias for the period from April to June 2022.

In addition, the SBI is investigating the case involving this former serviceman on suspicion of money laundering obtained by criminal means (Part 3 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In the framework of the proceedings, the court transferred to the management of ARMA real estate and vehicles that belonged to his family.

This refers to a house with an area of 857 sq. m worth 4 million euros and an office with an area of 223.9 sq. m worth 510 million euros in the Spanish city of Marbella, which belonged to the suspect’s mother and wife. ARMA also received three cars: a MERCEDES-BENZ EQV worth 2.9 million UAH, a Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG worth 8.4 million UAH, and a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 valued at 3 million UAH. This property was owned by the wife, mother, and mother-in-law of the former military commissar.
