The HACC confiscated the property of pro-Russian TV host Yuriy Kot

The former host of "Inter" now resides in Moscow and actively collaborates with Russian media, spreading anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

The Higher Anti-Corruption Court granted the lawsuit by the Ministry of Justice regarding the imposition of sanctions on the former Ukrainian TV host Yuriy Kot and confiscated his property. The decision was made at a meeting on December 25 in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions," reports the press service of the Ministry of Justice.

According to the court’s decision, Kot’s property rights to seven television projects are subject to confiscation.

In addition, the following assets of Kot are subject to recovery for the benefit of the state: four plots of land in the Zhytomyr region, three units of firearms, a Skoda Octavia Elegance car, 59% share in the authorized capital of LLC "Zolota Fishka," and funds placed in accounts at a commercial bank.

The court’s decision may be appealed to the Appeals Chamber of the Higher Anti-Corruption Court within five days from the date of its announcement.

As noted by the Ministry of Justice, Yuriy Kot, who currently resides in Moscow, is known for his pro-Russian views and active cooperation with Russian media, where he systematically spreads anti-Ukrainian propaganda. He is also a member of anti-Ukrainian organizations "Immortal Regiment of Ukraine" and "Committee for the Salvation of Ukraine."
