DeepState: Russian Armed Forces advanced in two directions

The Russian Armed Forces advanced in two directions in the Donetsk region. This was reported by DeepState on December 31.

According to analysts, the Russian forces had successes:

• in the Kurakhove direction — in the areas of the villages Slovyanka and Petropavlivka;
• in the Pokrovsk direction — in the areas of the villages Solone and Vovkove.

What the command says

In the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was noted that in the Pokrovsk direction, the soldiers stopped 40 enemy assaults and offensive operations. Battles took place in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Zelenyi, Dachenskyi, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Vovkove, Novoolenivka, and Novoyelyzavetivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, the defenders repelled 21 attacks. The Russian Armed Forces tried to advance in the areas of Petropavlivka, Slovyanka, Shevchenko, and Kurakhove.

What the soldiers say

Military personnel "Muchnyi" noted that after taking control of Vovkove, the occupiers are trying to increase pressure on the villages Kotlyne and Udachne.

"Now they are using equipment, deploying groups as deep as possible so that they can take advantageous positions," noted the defender.

According to him, the Russian Armed Forces also advanced to the western outskirts of the village of Lysivka and are developing a plan to reach the southern outskirts of the city of Pokrovsk.

"The situation is worsening every time, but we do not give up and hold on," emphasized "Muchnyi".

He noted that to the east of the city of Myrnohrad, Russian forces are trying to advance to the Pokrovsk – Kostyantynivka highway on a wide front. The enemy is attacking in the area of the village of Myrolyubivka, and the clearing of the village of Vozdvyzhenka is ongoing.

"After this, the movement will follow the scenario of the Kurakhove agglomeration; pockets may also form here," added the military personnel.
