In Britain, 200 Ukrainian pilots completed training in preparation for F-16 instruction

200 Ukrainian pilots in the United Kingdom have undergone basic training before training on F-16 fighters.

This was reported by the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Ukraine.

"200 Ukrainian aviators in the United Kingdom have completed initial flight, ground, and language training before training on the F-16.

Royal Air Force instructors trained the pilots in aircraft control, instrument flying, low-level navigation, and complex formation flying."

In June 2023, British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons noted that the United Kingdom, which does not have F-16 fighters in its arsenal, would provide Ukrainian pilots with basic training.

According to her, this training will allow Ukrainian pilots to become more combat-ready in a shorter time.
