The military spoke about the tactics of the Russian occupiers near Pokrovsk

Russian forces near Pokrovsk are attempting to penetrate with small groups but are avoiding urban clashes.

This was reported on the air of the telethon, citing the spokesperson of the Operational Strategic Grouping of Troops "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov.

According to him, the invaders currently aim primarily to disrupt the communication and logistics routes of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

"To achieve this, they are trying to establish themselves in small groups in the settlements south of Pokrovsk by the principle of: a small group establishes, secures itself, and the next one approaches. That is, advancement with penetration," the spokesperson explained.

Tregubov added that the Russians are trying to bypass Pokrovsk and avoid urban battles.

"Meanwhile, the Ukrainian forces are trying to prevent them from doing so and are striking, including with drones and precision weapons, to hinder them from implementing this plan," he added.
