In Kyiv, a notary illegally processed land using forged documents
The Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office is attempting to return a land plot in the Solomianskyi district to public ownership through the court. Its value is estimated at more than 7 million UAH. The current document regarding the ownership of the land plot was unlawfully prepared by a notary using forged documents.
This was officially reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office. It is noted that the plot in question is located at 65-B Novovokzalna Street.
"The Podilskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv established that in July 2023, a state notary, based on a forged decision of the Kyiv City Council, registered ownership of the land plot in the name of an individual... Currently, following a prosecutor’s claim, the Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv has initiated proceedings to reclaim the land plot from the illegal owner," the statement reads.

The prosecutor’s office also emphasized that a pre-trial investigation was conducted into the illegal registration of land ownership. Following the investigation, the state notary was charged with official negligence (part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Additionally, the agency reminded that earlier the Podilskyi District Prosecutor’s Office filed claims in the Kyiv Commercial Court to return two adjacent plots to the territorial community of the capital, whose ownership was also registered in a similar manner.
