Enemy losses for the day: The AFU eliminated over 1,400 soldiers and 17 tanks
In the past day, from January 8 to 9, Russian military forces lost 1,430 soldiers, 86 drones, and 16 armored combat vehicles at the front.
This information is provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total enemy combat losses from 24.02.22 to 09.01.25 are approximately:
- personnel - about 803,100 (+1,430) eliminated;
- tanks - 9,731 (+17) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 20,221 (+16) units;
- artillery systems - 21,765 (+36) units;
- MLRS - 1,260 units;
- air defence systems - 1,038 units;
- aircraft - 369 units;
- helicopters - 331 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 21,813 (+86) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,014 units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tankers - 33,387 (+80) units;
- special equipment - 3,686 (+5) units.
