Sokur, dismissed from the State Tax Service, became Hetmantsev’s assistant again

Yevheniy Sokur, who was recently dismissed from the position of Acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, has once again become an assistant to Member of Parliament Hetmantsev.

This information was learned by the media from the relevant profile of the politician on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

Earlier, on January 3, at its first meeting in 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to dismiss Yevheniy Sokur from the position of Acting Deputy Head of the STS. He allegedly submitted a resignation letter himself.

Yevheniy Sokur, who held the position of Acting Deputy Head of the STS since May 2022, previously worked as an assistant to Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation, and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev. The MP himself stated that Sokur was appointed to this position due to a supposed lack of other candidates. He denied information that Sokur supervises the risk assessment system for tax invoices.

Officially, one of Sokur’s areas of work at the State Tax Service was the digitalization of the system.
