Officials from the State Emergency Service during the war stole 7 million hryvnias on the procurement of tablets

The deputy head of one of the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the deputy head of the department of this unit, who purchased electronic tablets at inflated prices, have been charged.

The State Bureau of Investigation reports this.

In September 2023, the unit of the State Emergency Service announced a tender for the purchase of 2,000 tablets worth over 50 million UAH. The purchase was made through open bidding, for which only one company submitted an application with an offer that exceeded the market value of the gadgets by 30%.

The deputy head of the unit, without conducting a study of the market value of the tablets, declared this company the winner.

Expert conclusions confirmed that the purchases were made at inflated prices, causing the state more than 7 million UAH in damages.
